CERN Accelerating science

Every year CERN welcomes visits by artists, dancers, writers, musicians and designers keen to learn about our work and the people behind the science as well as the workings of this great international science laboratory.

In exceptional circumstances, and subject to availability, Arts@CERN will facilitate one day visits for specific artists and arts projects. Please note that we are only able to facilitate up to 12 independently requested artists’ visits per year. These visits are usually for 1 day maximum and subject to availability. We require at least 6 weeks’ advance notice.

Apply for becoming a Visiting Artist here.  Please note that we are fully booked for "Visiting Artists" until March 2016.

If you are not selected, you can always visit CERN through the public visits programme organised by CERN Outreach. Apply here.

Do contact us if you visit. We would love to meet you.

Thank you for your interest in Arts@CERN.
