Life Extended continues Bigert & Bergström's exploration of human striving to control life and death. In this film we meet the gerontologist who believes we will be immortal in the near future, the CERN physicist Michael Doser who roller skates around the LHC talking about the speed of light. And architects who construct spaces to slow down the ageing process and many others.
Initiated as a work of art, the film envisions a contemporary Memento Mori where death will soon be nothing but a memory.
The film has been shown at many film festivals.
