On Tuesday 9 March at 18:00 CET, join Mónica Bello, curator & head of Arts at CERN, for the panel discussion Innovation in Art: new challenges and opportunities.
Organized by Los Teatros del Canal (Madrid), Canal Connect celebrates the convergence between art, science, and new technologies in the digital age. From 4-19 March, the programme of shows, interactive installations, panel discussion and workshops will create a space to reflect on the multiple possibilities that science and technology offer in the cultural realm.
On Tuesday 9 March at 18:00 CET, Mónica Bello, curator & head of Arts at CERN, Óscar Hormigos, director of ONKAOS, Pablo Gervás, expert in Artificial Intelligence, Javier Arrés, a world-renowned crypto artist, and Covadonga Fernández, director of the Blockchain Observatory and Blockchain Media will participate in the panel discussion Innovation in Art: new challenges and opportunities. Moderated by multidisciplinary artist Jon Astorquiza, the discussion will seek to understand the current artistic and technological context and how immersive technologies, such as AI and blockchain, open up a new world of possibilities for creators, artists, institutions and consumers.
