BERG Contemporary invites you to a special talk between visual artist Sigurður Guðjónsson, who will represent Iceland at the 59th Venice Biennale and Mónica Bello Head of Arts at CERN and Curator of the Icelandic Pavilion. In 2020, Guðjónsson participated in our Guest Artists programme. The Icelandic artist visited the laboratory facilities – LHCb, CMS and others – and explored further ideas of his artistic practice in connection to fundamental science.

The talk coincides with an exhibition, which pairs Sigurður Guðjónsson with video art pioneers Steina and Woody Vasulka, bringing together artists who explore the materiality of technological devices and the nature of electronic sound and imagery. The exhibition runs through 26 March at Frieze's No. 9 Cork Street, London, UK.
